My wife found this on one of our towels on the floor in the bathroom. It was alive and i never seen anything like it before... any help would be great thank you...

Possibly a larva of a beetle in the family Dermestidae, but cannot be certain from this image...

Might be a larder beetle larva in the genus Dermestes -
