I saw this bug on my bathroom cabinet and I am not sure what it is. It was just sitting on the cabinet silently. It makes me feel very uneasy. Is it a tick or spider beetle? I took it with a napkin and threw it outside. I hope my bad quality picture is enough for you to identify...
A harmless accidental intruder - not a tick or a spider beetle; possibly a short-snouted weevil, but cannot be certain from these images...
