I recently got a goodness gracious hosta. It was in bloom when I got it. Does it rebloom on the same stalk or should I remove the stalk once the blooms are gone. Or does it rebloom at all. This is my first hosta and im not familiar with them at all. Thanks for any help
hostas
I would remove the stalk. The hosta will not rebloom on it and removing the stalk improves its look as well as causing the plant to focus its energy on root growth for a larger plant next season.
Basswarrior - Hostas do bloom every year, but only once-a-year. They're lovely plants with zillions of varieties and very easy to get hooked on. I'm sure you'll find yourself wanting more.
