Found these on my wife's Sunflowers. was able to find on the internet. Wonder if anyone else has seen them and what are their habits. Live in Sevierville tn

Flapnoodle I agree with the picture and they are Agapostemon bees. Just this is the first time I have seen them, am used to the little sweat bees-harmless except when they get caught in the crook of your arm--ouch. Sunflower is one of those with multiply heads wife wanted to try said they grow to 5 or 6 ft-- it is at 8.5 and still growing. probably will ahve to anchor it down...
