I am a new gardener. I just created some garden boxes and planted a variety of veggies. I went to water them and noticed a lot of my beans were eaten just shells remained and these bug skeletons were everywhere. What are they? They look like aliens!!!
These are the shed 'skins' (exuviae) of cicada nymphs. They would not have damaged your beans.
