Fall Plant Swap Stepping Stone Project

Odenton, MD(Zone 7b)

You will be missed, Buttoneer, but the rock and mineral show sounds interesting.

Baltimore, MD(Zone 7a)

Just wanted to let you know I will be bringing a bunch of those flat sea shells.
As in "Shell Gas Stations".....

Also--a lot of keys and a baggie of flat marbles. That's it so far....

Ditto , to missing Buttoneer!

I'll bring some red and purple 'grapes' and 'pears' and glass in green and yellow, from dissembling a kitchen light fixture.- you can probably picture the 99 dollar HD special from 20 years ago...

Vienna, VA(Zone 7a)

After looking at the shells, stones and fossils we have in our basement, I decided that none of them will work as well as colored glass. I don't have an artistic bone in my body, but I'm sure it will look great!

Dover, PA(Zone 6b)

They all look good when they are finished.

Yay! I can peel some of the excess glue off my fingers now. At least they didn't stick together, haha. My fingers might look normal by tomorrow.

They're all great and unique!
Thanks a zillion for all the prep and guidance you guys did to help us. It's a great memento of a Swap Day.

With everything prepared they aren't hard or too time consuming to do, and as you said Sally " It's a great memento".

Here's the link to Dave's podcast on shovel weeding. https://allthingsplants.com/ideas/view/dave/1925/Daves-Super-Easy-Two-Person-Weeding-Technique/
I usually do it by myself. I also do my edging, as I demonstrated to a few of you. The other thing I do is cut weeds in mulched areas, just sliding the shovel below the surface, then even out the lumps with the shovel, and leaving smaller weeds to just dry up.

Baltimore, MD(Zone 7a)

I posted some of the missing stepping stone pictures in the "Flowers" Thread.

I will post them here to go with the ones Ric posted above...

Gita's--Tammy's--and sally's but she still has it on her table.

Anyone else make one that did not get posted here?
