CLOSED: Bug ID Mississippi, USA.

Not sure what these are. But the bumble bee-like fly thing reminds me of the robber fly. He flies just like a bumble bee until he lands. And he had like a small beetle it seems in his mouth. And then the other thing flies really sporadically. That's all I have. Thank you for the help.

The yellow insect is a robber fly, it appears to be in the genus Laphria – see http://www.pbase.com/tmurray74/image/108640718 for an example. Some of these are bumble bee mimics that prey upon bees. The second insect is an adult ant lion that appears to be in the genus Glenurus - http://entnemdept.ufl.edu/creatures/misc/neuroptera/Glenurus_gratus.htm

Thank you again, Flapdoodle!
