Which wasp like bug is this?

IH8WASPS Vancouver, Canada Jul 05, 2014

I did some research and it may be a thread-waisted wasp. I'm at Cultus Lake B.C. Canada and have found 3 in my cottage in the past 2 days. Help?

It is a thread waisted wasp. You can do some research to see where they nest and how to get rid of them.
