New to the forum, was out working today and found this in a Garden never seen one before was easily a inch or 2 in size. Anyone know what it is?
ID on a beetle
It's a ground beetle that appears to be in the genus Carabus - see http://www.david.element.ukgateway.net/beetles15violetgroundbeetles1.htm for an example. General predator on other arthropods...
