These hang around our Hummingbird feeders and seem to eat the nectar. In the second picture, he seems to be rubbing his back/abdomen (?) ... Maybe rubbing nectar on himself? I thought I read they eat bugs, not nectar... Could this be a yellowjacket?

Thanks! I thought so.... I think they set up house in one of our bird houses. My husband is spraying them as we speak. Yuck!
