I d caterpillars on Yellow Daturas

Powder Springs, GA(Zone 7b)

Good idea. UGH! As a youngster I remember seeing my dad and step granddad squish them after picking them off the tobacco plants - lots of gooey stuff in them.

Bushland, TX(Zone 6a)

squish enough in a bowl,and call it,raisin cream pie,or custard pie!Yum Yum!

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

Snort, like you guys really need that protein! Chuckle. Not hungry enough myself...On the picture thing- if that is a cellphone picture like straighttalk?- go into the crop function and reset size of the shot, if you flare the borders out to the size on the screen, it makes it a good size to load into DG rightside up without flippin. Too much crop and the pix blur

Bushland, TX(Zone 6a)

Decided to just use sony digital, doing photo shop is not my forte!!!LOLCell phones just keep more and more complicated, just a simple man!! LOL

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

That is simple- same place you flipped your picture, it says crop, its for doing facetags I suspect- done after you take the picture.

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

Have you considered taking some of them somewhere to a new home? Maybe there is somewhere close by with alot of foliage they would like. I can send you some
4 o'clock seeds but will take a while to sprout :(

I will trade you some giant grasshoppers for them. I hate them and my stomach is getting so weak I can't step on them any more. Never had a weak stomach as a kid but when I turned 18 could no longer help my dad skin game. Now this last year it has gotten so bad I can't hardly do anything.

Does this plant you have set seeds? I would love some if and when it gets free of caterpillars long enough. It is a beautiful plant.

Bushland, TX(Zone 6a)

Not yet,but I will save you some,I have 4 oclocks that smell like jassmine in the evening, have plenty grasshoppers!lol
Not simple enough! No only off and on button! LOL

Houston Heights, TX(Zone 9a)

Im confused. Is the plant with yellow flowers a datura or a sundrop?

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

He has an oenathera named sundrops prob- not a datura, have been hearing of LOTS of seeds not being what was originally thought people were getting, chuckl.

Bushland, TX(Zone 6a)

Not the sundrop variety,as it opens during the day,but a evening opening variety, Oenothera tetragona .Also mine gets as tall as 4 ft and 6ft wide, wiki says it gets a foot to 2 foot tall and as wide, could be mine has awry!!!LOL

Bushland, TX(Zone 6a)
