I have Lilys growing that were planted many years ago, but I forgot the name of them all and if they are oriental or asiatic, are there ways to help tell what I've got?
I thought bloom time but I have both kinds blooming early and late so I can't go by that with all these hybrids these days.
How to tell difference between Oriental and Asiatic lily?
Yeah the asiatics usually bloom in June and the orientals bloom in July and August. Also, the asiatic lilies generally don't have a fragrance to the bloom. I think the leaves on the orientals are thinner and more grass like.
