Have this wooly insect on lots of plants around the yard. Slow moving but will fly a short distance or jump when disturbed. Mainly seen on lilies close to the top but can be mid stem too. Also see them on several shrubs including hydrangeas, weigela, and I won't swear to it but in some trees too. Not even sure if bugs 1 and 4 are related to the bug in 2, 3, and 5 (same bug in those 3 photos and my index finger for size comparison).

The insects all are nymphs of a planthopper in the superfamily Fulgoroidea. Will see if I can elucidate further later...
