This bug has been eating my cabbage plants. I am trying to identify it so I can look for an organic way to deter them. Any help would be appreciated.

CLOSED: Trying to identify this bug
This is either a rose chafer or relative in the beetle family Scarabaeidae (http://www.weekendgardener.net/garden-pests/rose-chafer-beetles-060906.htm). Standard organic controls such as insecticidal soaps or neem oil appear relatively ineffective. Suggestions include simply hand-picking/knocking them off into a container of soapy water or placing a barrier of row cover-cheese cloth around the plants.
That's the one! Thanks so much :)
