Hi everyone,
I just moved into a new apartment in NYC and last night I saw some bugs that I can't identify. They were crawling or standing still on my floor and on my wall. They were mostly on my wall. I probably saw about 15 of them. They looked like they may have had wings, but they weren't flying, so I'm not sure. They were very tiny, possibly about the size of a fruit fly? They were in the corner of my room farthest away from the windows (I have 3) and not by my door. I saw them on the floor first and then I moved my dresser to find more underneath. Then I realized they were also on the wall, some climbing very close to my bed.
This is the first time in two weeks that I've seen these bugs. It might be helpful to know that the apartment is old (perhaps built in the 1920's), my dad says the wood in the walls by the windows is water logged and old. This past week was the first week where it's been very warm outside in NYC.
Any insight would be helpful! I've attached a photo.
Thank you!

This is a young nymph of a cockroach, possibly a German cockroach -

You probably should contact the apartment management, as control of these insects in an apartment complex usually requires close coordination between management and tenants.
