North Las Vegas, NV(Zone 9a)

Hey Flapdoodle, and ALL members,
Look what I found on my Chocolate Bell Pepper!!! I thought they just liked Tomatoes!

Could those White fuzzy "cocoons" be these guys eggs?

Appreciate any info,
Thanks, Diane
Also does anybody know what these very hard objects are on the veins on the back of my Pepper plants?
Thanks.

I can't see the stuff on you leaves well enough to tell anything about them. Can you get clearer pictures please?

Also, your camera is focusing on the background, rather than on the object(s) you are trying to show. if you cannot correct this, you may have to borrow another camera capable of close-ups...

You're right!! Now that I see them blown up like this I can see the stuff in the background is clear as a bell, but the close up is beyond hope. I want to show you what I'm seeing so bad, but my cell phone just doesn't have the capabilities. I wouldn't dare share the photos of this very strange shiny white web like stuff with black specks in it. They've been on the backs of the odd leave here and there on different Bell Pepper plants. Most of the time they're along the main vein up towards the top--"stem end". It's messy, dirty looking stuff and usually on healthy leaves.
I know Spider Mites come to mind, but I really, really don't think so. I'm from the desert, the dry, hot, windy land of the Spider Mite. You can actually SEE Spider Mites, and the webs of the SM are much larger than these super flat shiny, white, cloudy areas with black specks in them. The specks don't move under a microscope--they're not spider mites. You can't rub them away either. They don't "seem" to be doing any damage.
I am so curious about these things. Does anything I'm tried to describe sound familiar?
Thanks you guys so much for even responding. My husband has a really, really old hand me down Kodak digital 3.1 mega pixels "Easy Share"cx6330 37 mm -111mm (Equiv) camera. I'll try to find a tutorial online for it. My husband says it won't do any good. Any savvy camera folks out there think he's right?
Oh well, maybe some day we'll be able to afford a cool microscopic camera!! I would so love that!!
You're going to get mad, but I'm going to upload some fuzzy photos . I've tried editing--to no avail.
Check out my new Lithops.

BEES in my drainage holes!!
I keep seeing bees going in and out of the side drainage holes that are about 1/2 to 1 inch up from the bottom of the pot. There's lots of gravel , about an inch or more in the bottom of the pots. We have LOTS of Leaf Cutter Bees around the neighborhood, but I don't know if that's what they are.
They won't drown, will they?
Thanks, Diane..(bluemerle)

If you can get a picture of the bees, try posting it on a new thread. I doubt very much they would be leaf-cutter bees, as these usually use cavities like hollow stems, etc. for building their nests...
