6 legs, 2 straight antenas, the head is more narrow than the body and brownish. The body is black.

This appears to be a straight-snouted weevil in the family Brentidae, it's shape is consistent with that of the sweet potato weevil, a common pest species in Florida - http://cookislands.bishopmuseum.org/MM/MX5/5AUt117_Cyla-form_RR-B730_CD1_MX.jpg
