CLOSED: Please help me identify annoying beetles !

Fort Myers, FL

Hi Everyone ..i'm new to this website and hoping one of you can help me solve a problem that's been going on for a few years now ..every wet season here in Florida (ft Myers) seems like we get these swarms of flying beetles but once they get in our house through windows, door cracks etc.. they really no longer fly around they just walk around they play dead if disturbed and just crawl everywhere they are so annoying i just dont know what they are i have googled to no avail so this is my last resort ..they are also really.. small six legs i believe ..pictures attached .
Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me ! not sure where to post this either

I can't be certain from your images, but these might be sap beetles - see
http://www.pbase.com/tmurray74/image/126034666 for an example. TSap beetles are attracted to chemicals given off by damaged/overripe/fermenting fruits or other vegetable matter, and can be garden pests. You might try taking some of these to your county office of Florida's Cooperative Extension Service to see if you can get further advice. See http://solutionsforyourlife.ufl.edu/map/ for contact links.
