I think this bit me today. Can anyone identify it? Dallas-Fort Worth area, I was sitting in shallow water in a swimming pool. Thank you for your expertise.
Spider?
This is not a spider, but a relative in the order Opiliones known as a harvestman; some other species in this group have very long legs and may be known as 'daddy long-legs.' They are not capable of biting humans.
Thank you for the response. My second theory that it was a bee sting is now looking more plausible.
