Hi all, spotted this blue butterfly today, we get lots here but this one I cannot identify. It seems like a cross between a Chalk Blue (but no brown margins) and an Adonis (but with black spots on rear wings). Cannot find that combination in my books, anyone help?

Here's image of what's purported to be an Adonis (Polyommatus bellargus) with black spots...

Thanks Flapdoodle, could not open your link but managed another way and it has helped identify. It would appear to be a Spotted Adonis Blue - Polyommatus punctifera from North Africa. http://observado.org/soort/photos/80853
Need to investigate further when have time.
It's difficult to make a direct comparison because of the differing angles from which the images were taken, but the forewing margin of the spotted Adonis blue in the link you provided appears to differ from that of your specimen. That aside here's another image of an Adonis blue with hindwing spots that was taken in Dorset, England -

I've never seen any of these during several visits to Dorset, but likely I haven't been there at the right time of year...
