Hello! I need some help identifying this strange looking insect we have outdoors. We have noticed many of them over the past 2 weeks, especially since it has stopped raining and warmed up here in Ohio. The photo shows it darker than it actually is. The body is a tan color. The head is black. There are 3 sections to the insect: the head, a portion directly behind there, and the abdomen. 6 legs. Roughly 1/2" to 5/8" in length. Hopefully we can get an ID on this thing. Thanks!

Unfortunately, your image will not enlarge - it superficially resembles a long-horned wood-boring beetle, but that i.d. is by no means certain...
