hi.
i live in israel and see this bug about once a year yet couldnt find anyone who knew what it is.
my son-in-law suggested i try forums - so i m starting here - any ideas?

there are two on teh light - one is a top view the other a side view -
the entire insect is all the same color - light green. has a flat back and can fly.
Unfortunately, your images will not enlarge and I cannot see any detail that would be useful in identification. Can you please try reposting? That aside, if it is flat, green, can fly and is relatively broad in proportion to its length, it might be a stink bug - see http://www.nib.si/eng/images/stories/osebnestrani/maja_zorovic/nezara-cutout-1-shadow.png for an example.
