CLOSED: UK - any idea what garden spider this is please

Hi there, first post on this great little forum!
Found a few of these spiders in our UK garden and because we have kids, just wanted to find out what it is and if it's bite can be nasty.

It resembles a lace-web/hacklemesh weaver (family Amaurobiidae) - see http://www.bugsandweeds.co.uk/spiders/amaurobius%20similis.jpg for an example - but I cannot be certain...
