These trees are everywhere on reclaimed farm edges that are very wet. I'm assuming this is some kind of willow, am I correct?

Willow ID
Oleaster Elaeagnus angustifolia. An invasive alien in your area (from western Asia).

This puts together a piece in my mind I've been wondering about. I thought Autumn Olive (Elaeagnus angustifolia) and Russian Olive (Elaeagnus umbellata) were the same species (I never looked it up until now). They are very different it seems, but both are nasty invasive around here. I have an Autumn Olive in my back woods which grows bigger every year after I hack it down.
'Olive' (i.e., Olea) is incorrect, these are Elaeagnus species.
Elaeagnus angustifolia (Oleaster) as its name "angustifolia" (narrow leaf) suggests, has narrower leaves than E. umbellata (Japanese Silverberry).
