Need pop can tabs for Grandson

My Grandson is saving the tabs off of any drink cans for a school project. He needs them by the middle of Jan. 2002. If you can save them for him please email me. I will be happy to pay postage for them. Thanks

which one tabs off bec of different drink either cap or tab or what what look like shape of it u mean aluminin can or glass bottle tabs???

Sorry if I was not clear as to what he needs. It is the little lift tab on soft drink cans. They can be from any drink can. Doesn't have to be a certain brand.

I can save them for your grandson, I will start now, we recyle our cans, and yesterday was our pick up day, but from now on I will pull them off.
A business aquiantence in Thailand was collecting them too, she use to give them to a hospital who melted them down and used them in pins etc for surgical procedures. I use to send her some every now and then. They are pure something, can't remember, I'm sure someone reading this will know and post for us.

I know some groups collect them to be turned in for Medical Supply credits...I never use can drinks so am no help here. Wish I could though. Good luck on the school project...and if any of you want to send Campbell's Soup labels to my Gandson for his school....I'll take them! Jo

Guess I missed this the first time around I will start saving them I wish I had seen it before just threw away a bunch I had been saving them for 2 different people and there things ended so I pitched them but I can still get some before Jan if you still need them. I will put the thing back out at work. lol

I'll save them for you too. I'll also try to get the ones from the office. Let me know where to send them and what date he needs them by so I get them mailed off in time.

My school saves "box-tops-for education". Maybe we can start a thread of wants. They used to save the Campbell's labels but they're hard to redeem.

Shuttlebunny what kind of boxtops? Is there just certain ones that say that on it or certain products etc. If it's something I use be glad to save them for you.

www.boxtops4education.com explains more mystic. I find them mostly on cereal boxes. I also find them on some other General Mills products and on Betty Crocker products. They are clearly labeled on the top of the box. HTH
