I think $10.00 is appropriate for a gift - your ideas?

Hi,
I for one would love to participate but due to having 5 Grandkids and others to buy for can't afford to spend $20.00. I think others will have the same problem. Maybe, between $8.00 and $10.00 would be better for a lot of us.

Question: what kind of gifts? Im asking people to email me a couple of things they want-it can be for your garden,plants,something xmaz related--I will then forward that info to their secret trader-you can then pick something from their list or send them a SURPRIZE!

I would like to participate. Although I really don't think that the price of the gift should really be the object here. I think it should be a thing of giving and if someone can't afford something nice, then so be it, it's the season of giving and it's the thought and love that is put into it that counts. I may be wrong here but that's just what I think. My gift will probably be made by me so it's hard to put a price on it anyway.
Anyway, e-mail me so I know where to send address :o)

i hand make a lot of my gifts too. some i give away because i can't bear to sell them. go figure. how about rather than make a general limit can we match people with their preferences? or will that be a lot of work. question answer. yes lots of work. oh wells. we'll figure out something

I make crystal angels hat you hang in your window and the sun catches the crytal.... they are rally nice.. I sell them at markets andi would be happy to send one.....

I make angels too and if you've been in the photo forum you may have seen a posting of one........these are to display in your home or put on the top of your christmas tree. They are not small :o)

why not make it no more than $10. I honestly can't imagine getting anything from someone here that I wouldn't treasure. Even something from the dollar store. If someone is thinking about me, I am loved, and that's what counts.

what I meant to say was anywhere from zero to $10. Some people have it to spend, but for those of us that don't, that still lets us play. If you don't want to take a chance that you might get my bean plaque, then you can unsign. right? remember the spirit, and the more that can play, for a lower cost, the more that can enjoy this.

I think the fact that you all want to be involved is great!
It shows how much you all care.... I love that about you all..
a ceiling is a good thing..... which means as you say tig... from 0 to $10 max is great!

I will make my own with love and the hope that the person who gets it will feel all the gratitude and love... hugs and kisses I put into it.....

So I agree, whatever you feel to do, thats what you do....
just think of the people here, not one of them wouldnt appreciate a gift sent to them...no matter what the cost....
It is the thought that counts and my thought is that I am thrilled and priveledged to have the opportunity to have made contact with a unique and special group like you all..

I have held off signing up for this. We don't have lots of money, and Christmas time always puts a financial strain on us. But, I would like to join. I am a crafty person, and I can give a gift from the heart. Please include me and let me know who I am to send to, deadline, etc.
