Identify of type of borer

Hello, I know this bug is some sort of a borer, but was wondering what kind. When I found it last year I immediately treated my 15 yr trumpet vine, unfortunately, I didnt find it soon enough and sadly this year I had to remove the vine. The bug has a blackish/brown color on the top of it. This picture is the underside. Thanks
