Need Advice: Suitable Mate for Male Ilex

Mipii (Robin) Blissfield, MI(Zone 6a) May 13, 2014

I have an Ilex crenata 'Sky Pointer' (judging by the flowers, its male) and wondered if it's possible to use a female Ilex x meserveae for berry production? Do I have to have another crenata or would any Ilex female that flowers the same time do (as long as she's good looking)? Thanks for your help!
