Thuja sp
A beautiful one at that...
That foliage is almost blinding -- very nice! Thuja is one plant that looks almost as good in a garden as it does in the wild. Almost. If you're ever traveling through northern WI with time on your hands, find a little stream in a forest setting and you're likely to see some gorgeous Thuga. This is a wonderful time of year to get away from it all and take a long hike in the woods. Works for me.
What are you saying Pseudo??? This is the time for fulltime springtime diligence!! Go on a hike? What's up with that? I fear the long winter has somehow blinded you to reality?? It's time for: polar vortex clean up, weeding, dividing, damage control, despairing, planting, debugging, wow'ing, opening boxes with spring plant orders, concocting excuses for your spouse re: why you're opening boxes with spring plant orders, ... certainly not for going on a hike!!
LOL. After looking at brown conifers in my garden, it soothes the soul to see them growing how they were meant to. :)
Arborvitae Thuja occidentalis. One of the numerous cultivars.
