Any idea what these little things are? I've seen them on something else in my yard, too, but don't recall what.

I had those last year on my white yarrow but unable to ever get a photo clear enough to get an ID. You should have better luck. Your photo is clear.
These are adult carpet beetles that appear to be in the genus Anthrenus - do NOT bring them indoors! These beetles are harmless pollen feeders, but their larvae can be destructive pests.

You're quite welcome. These beetles also are good flyers, so if you have flowering bushes near a doorway, they may gain entry to a house that way...
