May blooms

Arlington, TX

Wonder how Mahonia would do in a pot?

These are fun but not that pretty. I like the height and the blue color leaves but they aren't attractive for very long in my yard.

No they don't last long but they are nice.

I just have to share these. These Datura blooms are even more beautiful than the others. I am in love with this plant!!

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

Thank you so much :)

They are really lovely I had those once and they sure are neat.

I love my yarrow, the feathery foliage and the lacy umbels. May need to tuck a few more in here and there. My wintersowed balsam is blooming, despite being eaten to nubs by the roly polies, wish I could get them to leave!

Love looking at all the lovely blooms. What a great time of year.
Marty, I managed to overwinter the begonia, and it is doing well!!
Josephine, I think this may be from you, Heartleaf skullcap?

Sluggo Plus takes care of the pill bugs. Also, don't over water as they love wet soil.

I've got some of your Moonshine yarrow blooming in my flower bed, Anna. :)

Houston Heights, TX(Zone 9a)

Hi, Anna. glad your Begonias made it. They are not terribly sensitive to the cold, not like coleus. You should have a great show this year. That photo of the Zebrina is stunning. Could you keep me in mind next year for some of your Mrs. Duelberg? Volunteers or seeds.
Missed you at the RU.

When did you sow the seeds for the French Hollyhock? I've tossed some but I dont know when if they will germinate, so I toss more. I'm either going to end up with none or tons of them. I can't find any info on sowing them. Thanks

Plants seem to love the mild temps this spring.
Rock penstemon, Coreopsis, Rock rose

I grew some fancy datura a few years back. Your lovely flowers make me want to again!

My new iPad takes great pics but they sure don't load great here! My phone doesn't either yet both work on Facebook and other sites.

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

You have to turn FB off, or it takes over and won't let your stuff load. FB off on all electronic devices or that snooper browser is busy trying to anticipate what to sell you with blocking your internet...

Arlington, TX

I will try that but I don't think that is the issue and it doesn't explain my phone. I post pictures on different sites and this is the only one I have issues with.

Arlington, TX

I dug this up from a 2011 post, I definitely need to find seed for this one! I think Anna gave me a couple plants that I overwintered under lights in the house. This one was the only one to survive and bloom.

Yes, they re amazing.

Beverly Pflugerville, TX(Zone 8b)

newtonsthirdlaw---I will try to save you some seed if you would like some.

Colleyville, TX(Zone 8a)

I don't know about hollyhock seeds because I just get volunteers. But following nature, it would seem that the seeds would be falling soon. Maybe you would only get plants next year....now I can't remember!
I always have plenty of Mrs D, so I will try to remember

So THOSE are winecups, or put another way, the wildflowers I keep seeing in the grass are winecups. Beautiful, all, and thank you.
