Hello all,
I am scratching my head here, at first I thought these were bed bugs but I don't think they are. I have no idea what they could be. I do know that they are easily squished, are attracted to light (I place a small lamp on the floor and shine it close to the floor so that the floor has one small bright spot) they will follow that light where ever I move it. Also they sensitive to L-acid, and die fairly quickly.
They have some kind of pattern on the back, hope the pictures I took are enough to figure it out. Today I also found some outside on our white door when the sun was shining directly on it. However within the last few days I must have found at least a 100, probably more....
Please help and thank you!
Gratefully,
AMDG

Most of these appear to be bugs in the superfamily Lygaeoidea; the one oddball might be a bristletail (silverfish and allies)...
