I have lots of calendula (old fashioned marigolds). I usually remove the seed heads and strew them around. However a couple of seed heads were left on and I have now had one of the seed heads produce buds! Lots of them from one seed head. Is this normal? I have never ever seen this happen before.
I have uploaded a photo.
Any comments would be gratefully received.
Thanks
