(the bug, not the penny). We found it on our desk near abutting the front window. There is a tree right next to the window but the windows are screened in. I included a picture next to a penny to demonstrate the size of this.

Thanks for the reply. That is very much what we were afraid of but we just wanted to get independent confirmation. Anyone know if it's possible/likely to find them as an isolated incident? We tore apart the house from top to bottom and front to back to find any signs of them (looked for any bed bugs, skin from molting, signs of feces, and any bites on us and or pets) we couldn't find anything at all.
