What is this worm? And is the bug related?

Ballston Spa, NY

The picture isn't that great, but up close this worm has a little tail, a rounded body with a flat bottom. Has 4-6 legs on each side.

I found these buggers on my body, and am a little worried. Thanks for your help.

The 'worms' appear to be larvae of dermestid beetles in the genus Attagenus (black carpet beetles and allies). The black critter could be an adult carpet beetle. See http://ento.psu.edu/extension/factsheets/black-carpet-beetle for a fact sheet that includes control recommendations.
