Good to know, thank you! So the scary, poisonous, deadly stinger-claw-looking things are actually none of the above, it turns out? This I can live with :)

The 'claw-like things' are tail appendages that are completely harmless. The jaws with venom glands are at the other (head) end (to the left in your image). All centipedes are venomous, but only a few are of any medical importance to humans.
