Hello...
My husband was out tending to the roses when he discovered hundreds, if not more, of these beetles deep inside the roses. I think they're a type of Japanese Beetle but I don't know for sure...the photos I've seen online are a bit different. This is not metalic in color at all...it's just a dull brown color. Can someone please tell me what this is? We'd like to get rid of them if possible...
Thanks,
Heather

CLOSED: Japanese Beetle???
Not a Japanese beetle, but in the same family (Scarabaeidae); likely a Hoplia sp. - http://www.modbee.com/2011/08/13/1814352/seeds-lookalikes-of-japanese-beetle.html
Thanks... That's a big help. We appreciate it.
