For Spring Break last week I took the kids to San Francisco and we stayed in a few different motels.
This morning my 14 year old told me he found some bugs in his bed. Here is a photo taken with my microscope at approximately 30X magnification. The little bugger is about 2 mm long. What is it?

These look like young larvae of a carpet beetle (family Dermestidae).
We are more likely to have carpet beetles than wool moths in Colorado. See this fact sheet:
