I have started seeds indoors for a few years. I have experience with flowers but not with greens. I've heard greens sometimes prefer cooler temps and can be an early harvest crop.
I bought a pack of spring greens and I want to know if I should start indoor before moving to a cold frame outside. Or would it be best to direct sow into the cold frame? Can anyone provide suggestions?

I think it would depends on the greens that you choose. Most would be fine. Basil may need protection if you get a below freezing temps
