I ordered some plants and they have arrived. But my ground is frozen, and in some spots still covered with 6" of snow. What do I do? I know I need to keep the ones watered that look like the ones you buy in the nursery. My question is for the roots and bulbs that are in bags. A couple are producing sprouts already. Do I keep them in their bags in a cool, dark spot? Open the bags and water? Help!!
plants arrived too early!!
They should be able to stay in bags for awhile in a cool, dark and dry place. Don't water them.
Be sure the bags are paper, not plastic.
