Plant swap thread for Bill's 6/8/14 RU in Pepperell, MA
Very pretty, Martha. As long as someone else doesn't claim it, I would want a rhizome.
Beautiful, Martha!
I have two Chicago Hardy Figs (no wrapping these - the worst that can happen is they die back to the ground resprout in the spring) I can dig up some saffron crocus corms if anyone wants them.
was weeding today and noticed that there are many different Pulmonaria that have self seeded - have several different kinds - if any wants some they can dig them up next week.
Bringing my shovel....i was just looking at my pulmonaria today and wishing I had another one. Mine has flowers now that are the prettiest shade of blue.
Today I dug up several hostas where a tree is getting planted. If they don't get damaged or trampled in the next week, I can bring some. Hopefully they tolerated the spade dividing them into smaller pieces. They've been here so many years, I've lost track of their labels. One has a creamy border on green, another hugely prolific hosta is probably sum and substance, and yet another is a puckered blue one. Since Marilyn is interested in more hostas, I'll pot some up.
