This was on my couch tonight! I killed one like it last year. I live in the suburbs outside Baltimore, md

A Wolf? At least the 3rd one looks like one. If so, there is no need to worry. They are active hunters of insects and other spiders. Their bite can be painful but not dangerous.

Grass spider in the family Agelenidae - see http://www.pbase.com/tmurray74/image/147804766 for an example. Like wolf spiders, not dangerous to humans.
