Drought Tolerant Full Sun Plant suggestions please

I want to plant between a road and a fence where there is no irrigation.
We can water daily until it starts raining regularly [Orlando Florida 32810].
We would like to plant yuccas that we already have along with ????
Please suggest plants and shrubs that are either green or showy.
We do not prefer light green colors or varigated but would like
something maybe with flowers. We love cardboard evergreen palm
but unable to locate a plant at a reasonable price. Thank you.
