Plantsfor peg: I have 2 Proline Pondmaster pumps Hy-Drive. 1 on ea. pond. Can't say they last for years but they will make it at least 3 years sometimes longer. They are made by E.G. Danner Mfg. They are warrantied for 3 years so I have never had to pay for a replacement.
I get mine from Equatic Eco. Systems cause I can drive there when they go out and need to replace in a hurry. I told my husb. to make it easy to replace. I can unscrew pipe clamps and lift it out and put a new one back in in 2 mins. which is very handy. These don't pull a lot of current so are cheaper to run. I know these pumps are sold by other companies hopefully near you. Mine were $279. originally. Mine are down inside of skimmers so I occasionally clean leaves out away from them. They come with pump bag but mine sucked the bag right into the pump so I took them off. They both have to run waterfalls and do a good job at it.
Helen, glad you are able to be home to keep up with your fish and water quality. I'm sorry you lost a couple but that happens to the most experienced ponders I learned. Right now my ponds are clear right to the bottom. Not bragging just happy to see them clear. I do test my water more often than I used to. I have been using Microblift PL after the Summer Blend ran out. Seems to be working fine. Only thing I would like is more plants in the ponds but I have to be careful as my fish eat everything right up. Got to get my floating plant ring made.
Happy ponding All

Thanks for the info. I thought pumps should last a little longer than three years, but I guess after running non stop just about that will do it.
If I mark this as a bookmark will it be easy to find when I need it
Don't ask me. I'm as dumb as a post at computer. You could D-mail me and I could put info into a return d-mail and then you could save it easily in your d-mail folder.

Bookmarking the site makes it easy to go straight there when you want too. I have Dave's Garden bookmarked.
Try googling 'how to bookmark with _______ ' and put in your computer. You should get many answers. Good luck.
At the top of this tread I "bookmark" . It works well
