Exactly. I'm even bald like Fud too!

I am hoping NOT to see any rabbits in my garden this year. HA!!

Last year I had a VERY fertile Mama...I counted 5 different clutches (?)..
I am sure the hawks, and a black snake i saw, took care of some of the small fry.

I swear--if i could--I would "eliminate" the mama---with some lead poisoning

I long to have all my beds just natural--NOT with green plastic fencing all around them.
Bought a lot of Rabbit, etc. repellant last year at DJ Liquidators.
***Need to take a good inventory of all the Stuff I have--and use it.

Gita, using the Milorganite has been working for me so far this spring, perhaps you could try that? I have a large Have-a-Heart trap that I put out and sometimes get one or two. I usually drive them to work with me and let them go. I work about 23 miles and across a river from my house so I don't think they're going to make it back. The problem with that is though when I catch one, they try their darnedest to get out and they bloody up their hands, thus making the cage unattractive to the next rabbit. This time I left the cage outside for a month or so to wash off the blood.

Jeff--
SO? In your experience==Milorganite will deter rabbits from going into a bed??

I have already sprinkled Milorganite on every bed--about 2 weeks ago.
believe me--I use this product...
My lawn is now starting to turn green...all that rain--but it also needs some warmer
days to really green up.

My promised "Before and after shots of my lawn (because I fertilize with M.) will be
a week late. That cold just was not conductive to greening up a lawn.

Well my experience with it has been really limited to the last 3-4 weeks...so not vast by any measure. All I know is that I had a nibble or two on some crocus and one tulip. As soon as I noticed that, I went out and bought Milorganite (I was actually looking for bloodmeal but thought the Milorganite would last longer) and applied it generously. I haven't gotten any nibbles since then and I check daily.
