My first post, hello everyone. :)
I would like a little help identifying this beetle that I found in my garden in Ecuador.

I'm not expecting specific species just a ball park idea so I can do some more research.
I live in the cloud forest on the eastern slope of the andes in Ecuador.

Not in the family Acanthosomatidae, it is a leaf-footed bug (family Coreidae); likely in the tribe Coreini - see http://www.flickr.com/photos/andreaskay/6921047519/ and http://www.flickr.com/photos/8639190@N05/6921460333 for examples.
