CLOSED: Neat blue bug

Mahwah, NJ(Zone 6a)

I found this neat blue bug in a garden bed last fall. It curled up in my hand, and reminds me of a pill bug. Does anyone know what it is? Thank you for any help!

I believe that is a roly-poly bug, sow bug, pill bug are some of the common names.

Yes, it's a pill bug with a virus. See item #9 in this article:

Thank you hcmcdole, and kywoods! Grateful for the i.d., and the link to the cool facts. Did not know pill bugs were not even insects... Sorry to learn this one was blue due to a virus! Interesting nonetheless. Thanks again!
