I apologize, but once again, I only have video to show of what I saw. I realize that fly identification from this video is a tall order to make. But perhaps the large red eye may help to narrow it down some? Thank in advance for any help.

Fly I.D. - British Columbia, Canada
This looks like a flesh fly (family Sarcophagidae) - see http://macrocritters.files.wordpress.com/2013/07/p8100210-flesh-fly-copyright-ernie-cooper-2013-final.jpg for an example. They will feed on just about any dead animal matter...
