Hello,
You probably get this question a lot, but I would really appreciate the help.
I found the little bug in my apartment yesterday. Can anyone tell me if this a baby cockroach?
Thanks.
Is this a roach?
Does not appear to be a cockroach, but cannot see enough detail to hazard a positive i.d.
The enlarged image helped greatly - I was completely mistaken; it IS a cockroach nymph, but at least it does not appear to be one of the common peridomestic pest species. In looking at the images you posted originally, I had thought that the crossed hind legs were the head end of the critter! My apologies for the error.
Thank you for your help and the second look. I appreciate it.
Even if it is not the usual pest and I hope it just hitched a ride on fruit or so, I suppose I will have to keep an eye open and call pest control if I find as much as a second one.
