This link had great info on saving salvia seed. I've been scratching my head all month trying to figure out how to collect seeds from my autumn sage and mainacht. Now I know :)

Thanks Still, I've been trying to collect seeds from my Salvia gregii.

I collected a ton from my pitcher sage just now!! My mainacht is setting seed but they're not ready yet, seems like my S. Greggii is going to give me a hard time. Can't even find the little buggers!

It's tough to even get the pod before it drops and blows away, let alone find the seed. I think I'll be doing cuttings next year on this one. I love this plant!

My MIL have tons of hot lips, red, and variations of the hot lips from propagation. I really want to master this one.. I could grow it everywhere, so pretty and the hummingbirds are always on it!

I agree, I certainly want to plant more. Mine is 'Wild Thing' sporting a vibrant dark pink flower.
